Do you need UX Education to get a Job? ...1 day left to sign up for the 2023 RB Skillshop
User Experience Education
We receive several emails each month from individuals transitioning into the field of User Experience, asking for guidance on how to begin their journey. While Bootcamps and universities are good starting points, they do not necessarily guarantee employment. The key to landing a User Experience job is to take action.
Here are a few ways to jumpstart the process:
Volunteer - Volunteer to non-profits or startups to gain real-world experience and build your portfolio.
Practice and learn - Participate in design challenges, contribute to open-source projects, and take online courses to continue to develop your skills.
Network - Join UX communities and attend UX events, meetups, and conferences to connect with other professionals in the field.
Seek feedback- Share your work and ask for feedback from peers or mentors in the industry to improve your skills.

We're thrilled to announce that the UX Skillshop is just around the corner, and we hope you're as excited as we are! With only 2 days left until the big event, we want to make sure you're fully prepared to make the most of this 2-day training experience.
To help you get ready, we've put together a checklist of what you will need:
A notepad or note-taking tool: Taking notes during the sessions will be key to retaining the valuable information shared by our expert speakers. So make sure you have a notepad or a note-taking tool of your choice handy to jot down all those insights and ideas.
A Research Bookmark (RB) account: To ensure that you have access to all the valuable learning materials and resources that will be shared, ensure you have a Research Bookmark (RB) account before the event starts. Don't worry if you don't have an account yet - you can easily create one by clicking the button below and starting your free trial.
A focused environment: To make the most of the Skillshop, it's important to create a distraction-free environment. Find a quiet spot where you can fully concentrate on the sessions without any interruptions.
Your favorite beverage: We know that learning can be thirsty work, so don't forget to have your favorite beverage handy! Whether it's a glass of water or a cup of coffee, having something to sip on will help keep you refreshed and energized throughout the sessions.
We can't wait to see you at the UX Skillshop and share this incredible learning experience with you.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help!
Sincerely,
The RB Team
